Mukesh Steel Centre

Mukesh Steel Centre is our place at S No 111/13A, near the Pimpri - Kalewadi Bridge. If you’re driving through Kalewadi, you’ve probably seen us near the bridge. We deal in all kinds of steel supplies, mostly for local builders or folks working on their own houses. The yard is usually full of metal rods, pipes, and different types of sheets. It’s a noisy place because there is always some cutting or loading going on. We aren't a big company with a lot of staff; it’s just a few of us doing the heavy lifting. The area around the bridge has become much busier lately with more traffic and construction. We get a lot of dust from the road, and the yard can get quite messy when it rains. We don’t have a fancy office or a big sign. Most people just see the steel stacked up and pull over. We try to give everyone a fair price and help them figure out what they need for their project. Sometimes we run out of a particular size and have to wait for a fresh load to come in. It’s practical, everyday work. We don’t use any complicated systems to run the place, just a few ledgers and a lot of hard work. By the time we close up, we are usually covered in grit and tired out. It’s a simple business, but it keeps us busy and we like being part of the Kalewadi community.
