Ms Tarkar Watch Co

Ms Tarkar Watch Co is a bit different because we are in Kshitij Apartment. It’s on the 2nd Main in Phase I of Kothrud. Since we are in an apartment, it’s not like a shop you just walk into from the sidewalk. You have to know we are here. It makes the whole thing feel a bit more personal, I think. We have our workspace set up with good lighting for the watch repairs. Kothrud is a nice place to be, and being in an apartment keeps the dust away from the delicate watch parts. We’ve been doing this for a long time. We don't have sales guys or big displays. It’s just a room with watches and the tools we need. People come by to drop off their watches and we have a chat. It’s a slower pace than the shops in the main market. We focus on the work at hand. Sometimes it takes a while to find a part for an old watch, but we don't mind the search. We aren't a big company with many branches. This is the only one. It’s a quiet, focused environment where we can concentrate on the tiny movements of the gears. If you are looking for us, just find the Kshitij building and come up to the second floor. We are usually there throughout the day, just working away on whatever is on the bench. It’s a quiet life, but we like the precision of it.
