Our kitchen is located in Chinchwad Gaon, specifically in the Bhoi Ali area near the Saykar Service Station. It’s a place where we’re always busy cooking something. Catering is a lot of work, mostly behind the scenes. We spend our time preparing large quantities of food for different events nearby. There are always big pots on the stoves and people chopping vegetables. It gets quite hot in the kitchen, especially during the summer months. We don't have a fancy storefront because most of our work happens at the venues where the events are. People usually come to see us at the kitchen to discuss their menus and taste a few things. It’s a very hands-on job. We have a small team, and everyone knows their role. We’ve been doing this in Chinchwad for quite a while now. We know which markets have the best produce each season. Loading the vans with all the equipment and food is a big task every time there’s a function. It can be stressful when we’re on a tight schedule, but we usually manage to get everything where it needs to go. We don’t do much fancy talk. We just focus on making sure there’s enough food and that it’s ready on time. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we do. We like being part of people’s celebrations and seeing everyone eat well. It is a good way to live.
