Mohammedi Cateres

Mohammedi Cateres has been operating out of Nana Peth 1075 for many years. It’s a busy place, especially on weekends when there are weddings or big family gatherings happening around town. Our kitchen is always full of big pots and the sound of chopping vegetables. We don't have a fancy office where you sit down and look at brochures. Usually, if you come to see us, you’ll find us in our aprons, maybe a bit sweaty from the stoves. We handle large orders mostly, so there’s a lot of lifting and carrying heavy containers to the vans. The building at 1075 Nana Peth is old and has a lot of character, meaning the stairs are narrow and the walls are a bit stained from years of cooking. We don't use any fancy culinary terms. We just cook the food the way we were taught by our elders. It’s about getting the spices right and making sure there’s enough for everyone to eat their fill. Sometimes the delivery van gets stuck in the Nana Peth traffic, which can be a real headache, but we always manage to get the food there on time. We aren't a corporate catering firm with shiny trucks. We are just a local team that knows how to cook for a crowd. If the food is good and people are happy, that’s all we really care about at the end of the day.
