Our shop, Modus Vivendi Furniture & Lights Pvt Ltd, is located down in Khondhwa at Jawahar Nagar. We are specifically in the Green Acres area, at number 8. It’s a decent-sized place because, as you can imagine, furniture takes up quite a bit of room. We have various pieces of furniture spread out across the floor and lights hanging from the ceiling to show what they look like when they are actually turned on. It isn't a high-end showroom with perfect spotlights, just a regular store where we keep things we think people might want for their homes. We get a lot of locals from the surrounding residential buildings coming in to see what we have. Sometimes it’s a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we try to keep the chairs and tables wiped down. We’ve been around this part of Khondhwa for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s mostly families living around here, so we try to stock things that fit a normal house. We aren't a giant chain store, just a private limited company run by a few of us who know a bit about home decor. If you are wandering around Jawahar Nagar, you’ll probably spot our sign. It gets a bit quiet in the afternoons, which gives us time to reorganize the floor or check on new stock coming in. We don't do much fancy advertising, we just stay open and wait for people to drop by.
