The office for Modern Road Makers Pvt.Ltd. is located in Erandwane, right at Nirmiti Emience. We are in units 17 and 18. Most people find us by looking for Abhishek Hotel because we are directly opposite that. We are also very close to Mehendale Garage, so there is always a bit of vehicle noise and activity around. It’s a central enough spot for us to manage our road projects. Inside, things are pretty straightforward. We have desks for the engineers and the admin people who handle all the site logs and billing. We aren't really into big corporate displays. Most of the walls just have project schedules or local maps pinned up. The furniture has seen better days, but it works for what we need. Dealing with road construction means we have a lot of people coming in from the field with dusty boots and stacks of papers. It’s a busy environment, especially during the months when the weather allows for more paving and repairs. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at site plans. Our team is a mix of older guys who have been building roads for decades and some younger ones learning the ropes. It’s not a quiet office, but it’s where the work happens. We focus on the logistics of getting materials and machines to where they need to be. We've been here for several years now, and the building has become very familiar. Even though the name sounds modern, the office is actually quite old-fashioned with wooden cupboards and stacks of files.
