Modern Plastic

We are located at 8 Dukirkline, which is a bit of an industrial-feeling area. Our business, Modern Plastic, is all about working with different types of plastic materials. The space we have is more like a workshop or a small factory floor than a typical office. There are machines that hum all day long, and the smell of raw materials is pretty much always in the air. We have stacks of plastic sheets and molded parts piled up against the walls and in the corners. It is a practical environment where we focus on getting the shapes and sizes right for whatever we are making. We don't have a showroom or any place for guests to sit and have tea. Most of our work is done on the shop floor with the workers moving around and checking the equipment. Dukirkline isn't a place for shopping; it is a place where things get built. We have been here at number 8 for quite some time, and our neighbors are mostly other small workshops and businesses. Our team is used to the noise and the heat that comes from the machines. We spend our time checking measurements and making sure the production is moving along as it should. It is a gritty, hardworking sort of place where we just put our heads down and get the orders finished. No fluff, just plastic work day after day.
