Modern Medicine & Ayurvedic

Our place is at 128/2 in Kothrud which is part of the D.T.A.T Giri Nagar area. It is a combined space for Modern Medicine & Ayurvedic products so the smell is quite unique when you walk in. You get a mix of that clean pharmacy scent and the heavy aroma of herbal oils. The shelves are packed with all sorts of bottles and white boxes. We have a small counter where we sit and talk to the people who come in from the neighborhood. Kothrud has changed a lot lately with so many new buildings but our corner feels pretty much the same. We spend the morning checking the expiry dates and making sure the ayurvedic powders are stored properly. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it clean despite the dust from the street. There is a small stool we use to reach the stuff on the top shelves because they go all the way to the ceiling. It is just a regular local shop where we know many of the faces that pass by. We don't have a big staff or any corporate rules. We just come in, do the work, and help people find what they are looking for. Giri Nagar is a steady place to be and we have a good routine going. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the front for a bit but that is just part of being on this road.
