Mobile World

If you’re ever around Pune-Satara Road, you might have seen Mobile World near Patidar Society 1. It’s a straightforward shop. We’ve got phones on display and a lot of different accessories hanging on the walls. I try to keep the latest models in stock, but sometimes the distributors are slow, so we make do with what we have. It’s a family-run thing mostly. My brother and I take turns behind the counter. The road outside is always noisy with cars and buses, so we usually have some music playing inside to drown it out. We don't have any big corporate rules here. If someone needs a small discount on a cable, we usually just do it. It’s about being fair to the people who live around here. We get a lot of students coming in because they always seem to be breaking their phone screens or losing their chargers. The shop gets a bit dusty because of all the construction nearby, so I’m constantly wiping down the glass cases. It isn't a glamorous life, but I like talking to the different people who walk in every day. Everyone has a story about how they broke their phone, and some of them are pretty funny. We aren't a giant chain, just a local spot where you can get your phone sorted without any fuss. We try to keep things simple and honest.
