Mobile Store

The Mobile Store is located at building number 470 on M G Road. It’s a very busy part of town and there is always a lot of noise from the street. We are on the ground floor so it’s easy for people to just walk in while they are out shopping for other things. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character. We spend our time mostly selling recharge cards and looking at phones that people dropped on the pavement. There’s a lot of dust that comes in from M G Road because of all the cars and buses passing by so we have to wipe the glass cases multiple times every day. It’s a good spot because we get to see all kinds of people throughout the day. Some are in a big rush and others like to sit on the one stool we have and talk for a bit. We keep the shop open until late in the evening because that’s when most of the crowd is out on the road. The shelves are mostly filled with boxes and chargers and different colored phone cases. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit and we just sit there in the dark until it comes back on. It’s just a regular shop where we do our daily work and try to keep things organized. We’ve been here at number 470 for a long while and we know the street well.
