Mobile Spot

You can find Mobile Spot over on M G Road Sakinaka 17, right where the traffic always seems to be at a standstill. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with glass cases of different phones and a wall full of colorful covers. We spend most of our time looking through those magnifying glasses trying to fix some tiny part inside a phone that someone dropped. It’s delicate work and my eyes get tired by the end of the day. Sakinaka is a loud place, always horns honking and people rushing by to catch the metro or a bus. We get a lot of people coming in with cracked screens looking pretty upset, and we do what we can to get them working again. Sometimes we have to tell them it’s not worth fixing, which is never fun. We sell chargers, headphones, and those tempered glass protectors that everyone needs. The shop is always a bit cluttered with wires and tools on the workbench. It’s not the neatest place in the world but we know exactly where the screwdriver is. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and we see the same people coming in for recharges or just to ask how a new feature works on their device. It’s just a regular shop for regular people who rely on their phones for everything these days.
