Mobile Paradise

You can find us at the Nagarwada Char Rasta on Satara Road. The shop number is 47/2. Being at a four-way intersection means it’s never quiet. There is a constant stream of bikes and buses. Mobile Paradise has been in this corner for a few years now. We have two big glass cases full of different phones, some new and some used. We spend a lot of time dealing with screen protectors. It’s the most common thing people ask for. They want the thick glass ones that don't scratch easily. We also have a lot of different power banks because people are always running out of battery while traveling on the long-distance buses that stop nearby. The floor is a bit uneven, so the display cases sometimes wobble if you lean on them too hard. I usually tell people to watch their step. We do repairs in the back room where it's a bit quieter. Sometimes it takes a while to find the right part for an older phone, but we usually find it eventually. People from the nearby villages often come here because the bus drops them right at the crossroad. We just try to get their phones working again so they can get back home. It's a busy life, but it keeps us moving. I usually eat my lunch right at the counter.
