Mobile Accessories

Our shop is over in Hadapsar, right where Ali Askar Road meets Edward Road and Cunningham Road at number 7. It is a bit of a junction, so we get people coming from all directions. We called it Mobile Accessories because that is exactly what we have. The walls are covered from top to bottom with phone cases in every color you can think of. We also have heaps of cables, power banks, and those little glass protectors for screens. I spend a lot of my day helping people put those protectors on without getting bubbles underneath. It’s harder than it looks. The shop is quite narrow, so if more than four people are inside at once, it feels very full. We have a small fan that rattles in the corner, but it helps when the afternoon sun hits the front window. I’ve worked in this part of Hadapsar for a long time and I like the neighborhood. You see the same faces every day. Sometimes we run out of a certain type of cable and I have to tell people to come back in two days when the new stock arrives. We aren’t a big store with a warehouse; we just have what fits on the shelves. We keep the doors open to let the air in, even if it means some noise from the street. It’s a simple business and we just take it one day at a time.
