Millets & More

We started Millets & More because it was getting hard to find decent grains that hadn't been processed to death. My family had been looking for better options for a long time, and eventually, we just decided to stock them ourselves. We are located over at Avni Arcade, right on the second floor in Flat No. 3. It's exactly opposite where Venkateshwara Classes is, so you've probably seen the sign if you're dropping kids off or walking around that part of the neighborhood. The space isn't huge, but we pack a lot into it. There are bags of different millets everywhere, and it smells like a farm sometimes. Most days it’s just us moving sacks around and making sure everything is labelled right. It’s a bit of a climb up to the second floor, but people seem to find us okay once they know we're here. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just shelves and some basic counters where we weigh things out. We try to keep it simple because that’s the point of eating this way anyway. If you're coming by, look for the arcade building, it's pretty easy to spot. Sometimes the stairs get a bit dusty with all the foot traffic, but we’re usually inside sorting out the new stock that comes in during the week. It’s a quiet enough spot once you get inside the flat and start looking through the different grains we have.
