Annapurna

Annapurna is located at Plot No.53, in Veerbadra Nagar, Baner. We are right near the Ganraj Mangal Karyalaya. Being in Baner, we see a lot of people coming and going. Our place is simple and we’ve been here for a good amount of time. We named the business Annapurna because it felt right for what we do, which is basically just making sure people have food to eat. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t have fancy signs or a big marketing budget. We just focus on the cooking part. Most of our days are spent at Plot No.53, prepping grains and vegetables and keeping the kitchen running. The area around Veerbadra Nagar is growing fast, but we try to keep our local feel. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with all the activity nearby, especially being so close to the Mangal Karyalaya. We handle a variety of requests, but we don't use any fancy terms for it. It's just food. We have a small group of people working here who really care about not wasting anything and making sure the taste is consistent. It’s a lot of manual labor, washing big pots and carrying heavy crates, but that’s the reality of this job. We aren’t looking to be a national chain, we just want to serve our local Baner community and do it honestly from our home base here.
