We are located in Vishrantwadi, specifically in Flat No. 15 of Building No. 18 in the Vishrant Society. It’s a quiet residential area, which is exactly how we like it. We started Sugam Bio Foods because we wanted to do something simple with the food we eat every day. It’s not a massive factory with robots; it’s more of a hands-on operation where we pay attention to what goes into the packets. The kitchen and the office are pretty much right next to each other. You can often smell what we’re working on throughout the building. We spend a lot of time talking to farmers and looking at grains or spices. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but that’s just part of running a private limited company. We aren't interested in being the biggest brand on the shelf. We just want to make sure the quality is decent for the people who buy from us. Our neighbors in the society know us well, and sometimes they drop by just to see what’s new. It’s a small team, mostly friends and family who have been around since the start. We don't have a big corporate strategy. We just wake up, check the stock, and get to work. It’s honest, it’s a bit slow sometimes, and it feels like home to us.
