Alok Fabrications

If you look for Plot No. W-124 in the S Block of MIDC Bhosari, you’ll find Alok Fabrications there among the other shops. The main thing you notice when you walk in is the bright flash of the welding torches. We spend nearly all our time cutting, bending, and joining metal. There are always sparks flying somewhere in the shop, so we have to be careful where we stand. The air usually smells like ozone and burnt metal. It’s a gritty place to work, but it’s what we know. We don't have a showroom or a fancy lobby. If you want to talk to us, you usually have to find us near the welding bays. We work with a lot of local businesses in Pune, making frames, brackets, and whatever else they need for their factories. The floor is always covered in offcuts and metal filings, even though we try to clean up every evening. It gets loud with the hammers and the grinders going at the same time. Sometimes we have to work late to get a big project finished on time. We don't use a lot of big words because our work speaks for itself when the customer sees the finished product. It’s a basic, honest fabrication shop where we put in the hours and deal with the heat and the noise. We’ve been at this for years and it’s just our way of life.
