Mezza9

Mezza9 is a place we run on Hinjawadi 1st Main. If you know this area, you know how busy it gets with all the IT companies and the traffic that never seems to stop. We’ve been here for a while, providing a spot where people can grab a meal after a long shift. The kitchen is always a bit of a chaotic place. There is always someone chopping something, the hiss of the pans, and the dishwasher running in the back. We don't have any of those polished corporate ways of doing things. Our team is just a bunch of regular people working hard to get the food out on time. Sometimes when it’s really crowded on a weekend, we make mistakes with an order or a table has to wait a bit too long. We feel bad about it, but we just try to fix it and keep going. We have an outdoor area which is nice when the weather isn't too hot, but we have to keep wiping the tables because of the dust from the road construction nearby. The menu has things we like to eat ourselves. We don't have a big marketing budget or anyone to take professional photos of our food. We just rely on people coming in and then coming back if they liked it. It’s a tough business with high costs for everything, but we enjoy the buzz of a busy night.
