Out here in Hadapsar, specifically over at Rogers Road in Richard S Town, we run Megatech Power Equipment. Our address is 36/1/1, right in the middle of a bunch of other workshops and sheds. It’s an industrial kind of area, so you expect a bit of grime and grease on everything. We spend our days looking at power units and engines that aren't behaving right. It’s loud, and you usually end up with oil under your fingernails that won't come out for days. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when the sun is beating down on the tin roof. We have a few big worktables where we spread out the parts. Sometimes a job takes much longer than we thought because a part is stuck or rusted through. We don't have a receptionist or anything; if the phone rings, whoever is closest to it picks it up. Usually, we are too busy with a wrench to answer anyway. We’ve been at this location for a while now. The neighbors are mostly other mechanics and fabrication guys, so we borrow tools from each other sometimes. It’s a good community in that way. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People usually find us because someone told them we know how to handle these machines. We just show up, do the work, and go home. There is always a pile of scrap metal in the corner that we need to clear out.
