Out here at Uruli Devachi Ramdarbar in Chandigarh, things stay busy at Megatech Power Equipment. Our place is at 36/1/1 and it’s mostly a lot of metal and heavy stuff around the workshop. We work on different types of power equipment every day. It’s not the cleanest job because there is always some grease or dust from the machines. The guys in the back know their way around an engine or a circuit board better than anyone else I know. We’ve got some big units sitting in the yard waiting for parts or to be picked up. Chandigarh weather can get pretty hot in the summer, which makes working in the shop a bit tough, but we just keep the fans going and get on with it. It’s a practical setup here. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or a front desk with a receptionist. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk into the main area and find whoever isn't under a machine at that moment. We deal with a lot of local businesses and some people coming from further out who need their equipment fixed or are looking for something specific. It’s a lot of manual work and checking specs. We try to keep things organized but with so many parts moving around, the shelves usually look a bit cluttered. It’s just how we work.
