Mega Mart

You can find us at 20/21 Ellora Park, located within the Mgm Market in Dhanakawadi. It is a very straightforward shop and we don’t try to make it look like something it isn't. We have spent a lot of time here keeping the shelves organized and dealing with whatever comes up. The market outside is always full of people looking for good deals and vendors calling out to the crowd. It is a local neighborhood spot, not like those massive malls where everything feels cold and impersonal. We know many of the customers who walk through the doors because they live just around the corner. Some of them have been coming to see us since the day we opened. We do not have a marketing team or people writing slogans for the walls. The floor usually gets quite dusty because of all the people walking in from the market, so we are often busy with a broom. The back office is just a tiny corner with a wooden desk where we keep the accounts and bills. It can get pretty warm in the afternoons, but we have a few old fans that keep the air moving. We just try to make sure we have the items people are looking for. There is no big secret to how we operate. We open the shutters in the morning and stay until the market starts to go quiet. It is just honest work in a busy part of Pune.
