Meera Foundry

We have been operating Meera Foundry for quite a while now. You can find our place right on Chikhlee Main Road at 1541. It gets pretty loud and dusty inside most days, which is just how a foundry is supposed to be. Most of the guys here have been working these floors for years, so they know the heat and the metal better than anything else. The office isn't fancy at all, mostly just a simple desk piled with old ledgers. We have a lot of heavy equipment and people who show up early to get the furnace moving. Sometimes the machines act up or the delivery trucks get stuck in the local traffic, but we manage to sort it out. It is hard work, pouring metal and getting the molds right every single time. We keep our tools organized as best as we can, though things usually get messy by noon. People stop by the gate sometimes just to ask what we are making today. It’s mostly just us doing what needs to be done. Big meetings aren't really our thing. Usually, we just talk over the noise to figure out the day’s schedule. If you walk past the shop, you will probably smell the hot iron before you even see the sign. It’s a steady rhythm here, and we are used to the long hours. The neighborhood around Chikhlee has changed, but our spot stays pretty much the same. We just keep the furnace going and focus on the day ahead.
