Meera Foundry

Meera Foundry is located out in Gat No. 1541 within the Sonawane Industrial Area. If you head down Chikhali-Talawade Road, you’ll find us in the Matushri Colony section. It’s a workplace where things get dusty and hot. We deal with metal and casting work every day. It isn't a clean office job. There are piles of sand and scrap around the floor, and the machines make a lot of noise. We’ve been here for a while now, just doing the work that needs doing for our customers. Usually, the day starts early when the sun isn't too high because once the furnaces are on, it gets quite warm inside. The guys here have been working these machines for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the state, just trying to get the orders right. Sometimes a pour doesn't go perfect and we have to do it again. That’s just how foundry work is. The road outside can get pretty muddy when it rains, making it hard for the trucks to come in. We spend a lot of time just managing the raw materials and making sure the molds are set up okay. It’s straightforward work. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just the workshop and a small area to sit and talk. We keep things moving as best as we can, even when it is very busy during the week.
