Mayur Communication

If you head down Srineketana Road in Akurdi, specifically over in Viveknagar near the 1st Cross, you’ll find us. We are at number 21 in Mallasandara. Mayur Communication is a small shop where we handle various phone-related things. It’s a narrow street, so there’s always bikes parked out front and people walking by. The shop itself is quite compact. We have some glass counters with different accessories and some old chairs for people to sit on while they wait for their mobile recharge or for us to look at a device. The walls are covered with posters and calendars from the last few years. It gets pretty loud during the peak hours because the 1st Cross is a bit of a shortcut for locals. We spend a lot of time looking at small screens or talking to people about their data plans. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but you meet everyone in the neighborhood. Sometimes the internet acts up and we just have to wait it out while chatting with whoever is in the shop. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights. It’s just a local spot with a fan that squeaks a bit and a lot of cables behind the counter. People stop by not just for work, but sometimes just to say hello while they’re out running errands in Akurdi. It fills the day up quite well.
