Our office is up on the 3rd floor over on Bibwewadi Road. It is just off Karve Road, so it is easy to find once you know where the turn is. We work on software here. It is mostly just sitting at desks and looking at screens all day long. The lift in the building works most of the time, but sometimes walking up the stairs is honestly faster. We have a small team here. Not too many people, just enough to get the work done. The view from the third floor is not much to look at, just the road and some other buildings nearby. We have a little kettle in the corner for making coffee when it gets late in the afternoon. It gets a bit warm in the office because the sun hits the windows directly after lunch. We started this place because we wanted to work on our own terms. There is not much hierarchy here. Everybody knows what they need to do without being told. We keep things pretty quiet during the day so people can focus on their tasks. It is not a corporate setup with suits and ties. Most of us just wear jeans and t-shirts. We spend a lot of time debugging things and trying to figure out why the code is not doing what it is supposed to. It is steady work. We have been in this spot for a couple of years now.
