Matru Seva Hospital

Our place, Matru Seva Hospital, is located over in Sector 18 of Chikhali Pradhikaran, near Shivaji Park. The address is quite a mouthful because we are right near Spine Road and Lane No 02, not far from Thermax Chowk in Shahu Nagar, Chinchwad East. It is a busy industrial and residential mix out here in Pune. You can always hear the sound of traffic from Spine Road throughout the day. The hospital itself is a practical building. We don't have a big fancy lobby with marble floors or expensive art. It is more about having enough beds and making sure the fans are working on hot days. We get a lot of workers from the nearby factories coming in, along with families from the Shahu Nagar area. The staff here is mostly local, so we speak the same language as everyone else. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the usual day-to-day things, like keeping the records straight and making sure the pharmacy is stocked. It is a busy spot, especially around Thermax Chowk. Sometimes the parking out front gets a bit messy, but we try to manage it. We aren't trying to be the biggest hospital in Pune, just a reliable one for this specific corner of the city. It is a lot of long hours and hard work, but we are used to it by now. We just keep going.
