Maruti Steel Fab

Our place is over at Plot No. 9 in the B.U. Bhandari Industrial Estate. It's out in Sanaswadi, part of the Shirur area. Maruti Steel Fab has been operating out of this workshop for some time now. It gets pretty loud around here with all the other units nearby, but that’s just the nature of an industrial estate. We spend most of our hours on the shop floor. The office is small and usually a bit dusty from the work. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor or making things look pretty. It’s all about the metal and the machines for us. Finding the plot is easy if you know the estate layout. Some days are long, especially when there's a lot to get through before the weekend. We just put our heads down and get on with it. There’s no fancy lobby or receptionists greeting you at the door. It's just the guys working. Sanaswadi is quite a hub now, but we remember when it was much quieter around here. We’ve seen a lot of neighbors come and go over the years. Maruti Steel Fab is just a name on the door, really. Behind it, it’s just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. We don’t have much to say about ourselves other than we show up and do the work. It’s a practical life. Nothing more, nothing less. We just keep things moving along day by day at Plot 9.
