Manoj General Stores

You can find Manoj General Stores right on the Warje Malwadi Main Road. We have been here for a long time, watching the road get busier and busier every year. Being on the main road means there is always noise from the traffic, but it also means we get to see everyone passing by. We sell all the basic stuff like soap, biscuits, grains, and whatever else a household might run out of at the last minute. The shelves are usually packed tight because we try to keep a bit of everything. It is just me and my wife most of the time. We know which neighbor likes which brand of tea and who is going to come in for milk at exactly seven in the morning. It is not a big supermarket, just a small local store where you can have a chat while you pay. Sometimes the kids from the nearby school come in for snacks, and it gets a bit loud for a few minutes. We don't have a website or any of that. If people want something, they just walk over or give us a call on the landline. The floor is a bit worn out from all the walking, and the fan makes a bit of a clicking sound, but it is home to us. We stay open pretty late because someone always forgets something for dinner. It is a steady life, and we are happy to be part of the community here on the main road.
