You can find us at number 52 on Alandi Road, right in the Gaonthan area. We are positioned near Shastri Chowk and directly in front of Mayuri College, so there are always students and teachers walking by. The energy around here is quite high because of the college. We run a food business that keeps us on our feet from early morning until the evening. It’s a small place, and we often have to squeeze past each other to get things done. We spend a lot of time preparing the food items and making sure they are packed up right. The Alandi Road is always full of vehicles, so it can get a bit loud, but we like being where the action is. Our shop is just a regular building, nothing fancy about the walls or the floors. We do our own cleaning and our own heavy lifting. Sometimes we run out of things faster than we expected, and then it’s a bit of a rush to get more stock in. It’s just how it is when you’re working in a busy part of town like this. We don’t use any big fancy words to describe what we do, we just provide food items to the people who need them. It’s a practical way to make a living and we’ve been at it for a while now. Seeing the same students every day makes it feel like a real community.
