Manisha Enterprises

We are based out of the Kathodara area in Hadapsar. Manisha Enterprises is a small operation, mostly handling supplies and various items that local businesses need. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road but people find us. The warehouse is a bit messy right now because we just got a big shipment in. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us doing the lifting and the billing. It’s quiet in the mornings, then things pick up around noon. We’ve been in Hadapsar for several years and have seen the buildings go up around us. We handle a lot of different goods, so it's hard to describe exactly what we do in one word. If a customer needs something specific, we try to get it for them. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or other shop owners nearby. We use an old ledger for some of the books and a computer for the rest. It works for us. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to get to it. We drink our chai and keep the business running as best as we can. It’s a normal day-to-day life here. The rain sometimes leaks a little near the back door of the Kathodara warehouse, so we have to move the pallets around during the monsoon. It's a bit of a hassle but we manage. We aren't looking to expand or become some huge corporation. We just want to do right by the people who buy from us. We stay consistent and treat everyone the same.
