If you find yourself at Jeevan Nagar Chowk in Kondhwa Khurd, you’ll likely see us. Manik Mobile Shopee is sitting right there in Phase 5, number 50. It’s a lively corner of the neighborhood. There’s always someone honking their horn outside or a group of students standing around talking. We spend most of our time behind the counter looking at screens or fixing chargers. It’s a small shop, but we’ve managed to fit a lot of stuff on the shelves. We sell covers, screen guards, and second-hand phones when we have them. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we just sit and chat with whoever is waiting for their repair. Kondhwa Khurd is a fast-growing place, so we see new faces almost every day. Still, we have our regulars who come in just to ask about the latest models. The shop floor is a bit cramped because of all the display cases, but it keeps everything within reach. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the tools. Most evenings are the busiest when people are heading home from work and realize their phone battery is dying. We stay open until late most nights. It’s just the way it is here. You get used to the pace after a while. We have a small drawer full of screws and parts that we’ve taken from old phones, and sometimes that’s the only way to fix a tricky problem.
