Manglam Departmental Store

Manglam Departmental Store is right here at Sumitra Niwas, near the College of Military Engineering. Being close to Mauli Hospital makes it easy for people to find us when they need a few things. We’ve been running this shop for a while now. Most days it’s just us keeping the shelves stocked with whatever folks in the neighborhood are looking for. You know how it is in a small store, things get a bit crowded but we try to keep it organized enough so you can find your groceries or household items without too much trouble. It isn't a massive supermarket or anything fancy like that. Just a regular place where you can grab milk, snacks, or maybe some soap on your way home. We open early and stay until the evening. Sometimes it gets busy when the college kids come around, other times it’s pretty quiet. The location works out well because people walking to the hospital stop in quite a bit. We don't have a big website or a social media team, just the shop. If we don’t have something you need, just tell us and maybe we can get it in the next delivery. It's a simple operation really. We live nearby too, so this is just part of our daily life. Some days the delivery truck is late and we have to shuffle things around, but that's just part of the job.
