Net Zone

Net Zone is located in Mangalwar Peth, specifically at No. 129. We are right by Ganesh Bakery, so we always get that smell of fresh bread and biscuits in the office. Chhajed Chowk is a busy junction, and being behind Kamla Nehru Hospital means there is always a lot of movement outside. We have a row of computers set up for people to use. Some come in for quick prints, others stay longer to browse or fill out forms. It gets quite loud with the traffic noise and people talking. We have to keep an eye on the printers because they jam at the worst times. Dealing with cables and routers is a daily thing. Sometimes the internet acts up and we have to call the provider, which is always a headache. We keep some basic stationery too, since people always need a pen or a folder. The floor gets dirty pretty fast with so many people coming in and out from the street. We usually sweep it a few times a day. It’s a small place, but we’ve tried to make the most of the space. There are old chairs that have been here since we opened. We know most of the shop owners around here. We grab tea from the stall at the corner. It’s a regular neighborhood life. We stay open late most days because that’s when people finish work and need to get their stuff done. It is just a simple internet shop.
