You can find us in Ambegaon, right near the Mitrasagar Petrol Pump. It’s a landmark everyone uses when they’re giving directions to our place. Being near a petrol pump means there’s always the smell of fuel and the sound of engines idling nearby, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Ambegaon is a growing area, and it feels like there’s new construction happening on every corner lately. Our hospital is a steady presence amidst all that change. We don't have a polished front desk with someone in a suit. Instead, you’ll usually find one of us shuffling papers or talking to a family in the hall. The floors are a bit worn from all the walking, but we keep them clean. We have some trees nearby that give a little bit of shade during the hottest parts of the day. People come to us from all over the Ambegaon area. Sometimes it gets crowded and we have to ask people to wait outside on the benches under the awning. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re something we aren't. We’re just the city hospital for this part of town, dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. We often share a laugh in the breakroom about the stray dogs that hang around the entrance looking for scraps.
