Mamta Sales & Services is tucked away in Budhwar Peth, right along the Magadi Main Road area. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the street coming through the door. We handle a mix of selling things and fixing them when they break down. The shelves are usually packed with various items and spare parts that people might need for their homes. We spend a lot of our time behind the counter answering questions or at the back workbench with a screwdriver in hand. It’s not a shiny showroom; it’s more of a functional space where things get done. Some days we have a lot of people coming in at once, and it gets a bit crowded. We don’t have a script or anything when we talk to customers, we just tell them what we think is wrong or what item might work best for them. The floors are a bit worn down from people walking in all day, but that’s just how it is. Being on a main road means we see all sorts of folks from all over. We try to keep things simple and not make a big deal out of the work. If we can fix it, we will, and if we can’t, we’ll say so. It’s a small operation, just a few of us trying to keep the shop running and the customers satisfied with the service we provide right here.
