Mamta Food Plaza sits right on the Pimpri Rakhial Road. It’s a busy stretch of road with lots of trucks and cars going past all day long. We get a lot of workers from the nearby factories who come in for a quick lunch. The place isn't very big, so it gets pretty crowded around one o'clock. We have a menu that changes a little bit every day depending on what vegetables are fresh at the market. It’s mostly simple, home-style food that fills you up. We have benches and tables that are built to last, nothing fancy. The kitchen is always busy with the sound of clinking pots and the smell of tadka. I try to stay on top of things, but sometimes the service gets a bit slow when everyone arrives at once. We don't have air conditioning, just some big ceiling fans that spin fast to keep the air moving. People don't stay long; they eat their meal, pay at the counter, and head back to work. We also have some snacks and tea for the afternoon crowd. The floor gets a bit messy during the rush, but we sweep it up as soon as things quiet down. It’s a hard-working atmosphere here. We just focus on getting the food out and making sure nobody leaves hungry. It’s been our life for many years now. On weekends, it’s a bit quieter so we take that time to do a deep clean.
