Malvan Hotel

Our spot at Pimple Gurav is right at the 3rd Cross, specifically at Trimurti Corner. If you look across, you’ll see the Ganpatrao Jagtap Building. That’s how most people find Malvan Hotel. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We spend a lot of time out front, just watching the bikes and cars go by while we get the day started. The building we are in is older, but it serves us well. There’s always some construction or something happening nearby, so it’s rarely quiet. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy decor. It’s just tables and chairs and the smell of the kitchen. Being at 411027 means we get a lot of locals who live in the apartments around here. We know most of them by sight. Every morning, we're here early to take in the supplies. It’s a lot of crates and bags being moved around. The sun hits the corner pretty hard in the afternoon, so it gets warm. We just open the doors and let the breeze in if there is any. It’s a straightforward way to make a living. We aren’t looking to be the biggest place in town, just a steady one. Sometimes the rain floods the street a bit, and we have to move things inside quickly. It’s just part of being on this specific street in Pimple Gurav. Nothing too special, just our daily life here at the hotel.
