Mallikarjuna Traders

If you walk down Mangalwar Peth, you'll find us near the Union Bank Lane. It’s number 156. Mallikarjuna Traders is what we call the place. Most days, it’s quite a scene here with people coming in and out of the bank and the other shops. We’ve been set up in this spot for a good while now. It’s not one of those shiny new offices you see in the bigger cities. It’s just a practical space where we handle our trading business. Some mornings the tea stall nearby is the only quiet place before everyone starts arriving. We deal with a lot of different things, mostly moving goods and keeping track of orders. The lane can get pretty narrow when the delivery trucks try to squeeze through, but we manage. Most of the folks around here know us by name. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes if you aren’t used to the layout of the area. We keep things pretty simple. There’s no big reception or fancy coffee machine. Just a few desks, some ledgers, and a lot of talk about prices and stocks. People drop by, have a quick word, and move on. It’s just how things work in this part of town. If the rain is heavy, the lane gets a bit messy, but the work doesn’t stop. We just keep doing what we do at 156. It's a busy life but it suits us.
