Maitri Fabrications

We are over at No. 18 in Maitri Park, which is on Mulewadi Road in Manchar. Most people find us by looking for Gade Hospital, since we are right opposite it. It’s a local fabrication shop, nothing too fancy or high-tech. We spend our days cutting metal and welding things together in the yard. You can usually hear the sound of the saw cutting through iron from down the street. We make things like window grills, gates, and small structural parts for houses around here. The place is a bit cluttered with leftover metal bits and our tools are scattered on the workbenches. We wear our old clothes because they always get burned by sparks or stained with paint. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it in this same spot for quite some time. We don't have a big sales team; usually, it’s just one of us stopping the machine to talk to whoever walks in. We take measurements, talk about what they need, and then get back to the welding mask. The sun hits the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, so we mostly work in the shade of the roof. It’s a bit messy, and there's always iron dust on the floor, but that’s just how a fabrication shop looks. We just keep our heads down and finish the jobs as they come in from the local folks.
