Mahi Catering Services

Our spot is on Yerwada Rest House Road. It is a decent location for what we do at Mahi Catering Services because it’s easy for us to get out to different parts of the city from here. The kitchen isn't huge, but we have everything we need to get the job done. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving between the prep tables and the big gas ranges. It gets pretty humid when we have several things cooking at once, so we keep the back door open when we can. The road outside can get a bit congested, especially near the rest house area, but we’ve learned the shortcuts over the years. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. We know each other's habits and how to stay out of the way when things get frantic. Most of our day is spent prepping vegetables or packing up containers for the next delivery. It’s not a glamorous job, and our clothes usually smell like food by the time we head home. We don't use any fancy tech to run things, just a big ledger and some notebooks to keep track of what needs to be done. It’s a simple way of working, but it’s what we know. We like being on Yerwada Rest House Road because the people around here are friendly and it feels like home to us.
