Maheshwari Stamping

We are located over at 45/2 in Bhosari Indrayani Nagar. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly industrial stuff around here. Our shop does stamping work. It’s a loud process, you can hear the presses from the street when we’re really going at it in the mornings. The building is quite old and has that specific smell of metal and industrial lubricant that never really goes away. We have a small crew and most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. We just know the routine by now. There’s a lot of heavy lifting involved with the metal sheets. We keep the loading area clear so the trucks can get in and out without too much trouble, though the road outside can get pretty jammed up in the evenings with all the traffic. The office is just a small partitioned space in the corner where the phone sits. It’s mostly covered in dust from the shop floor. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep our energy up. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit or anything. We all wear our work clothes and expect to get them dirty. It’s a straightforward business. We take the orders, run the presses, and get the parts out the door.
