Mahesh Steel Center & General Stores

Down at Nagar Road in Jyotiba Nagar, you’ll find our place, Mahesh Steel Center & General Stores. We are at number 48/1 in the Talawade area. It’s a mix of a shop where we keep steel utensils and also some general items for the house. We have been working out of this spot for a good number of years. It’s a dusty area with all the construction going on around here, but we keep the shop going. We have buckets, plates, and some hardware stuff too. It’s not a very fancy setup, just some racks and a lot of stock piled up. People coming from the nearby factories often stop by to pick up bits and pieces they need. We try to keep the prices fair because we know everyone is working hard. Sometimes the rain leaks a bit near the front door, so we have to move the bags around. Dealing with steel means things can get heavy, so we stay fairly fit just moving stuff. My nephew helps me out on the weekends when it gets a bit more crowded. We don't have a website or anything, just the physical shop where people can see what they are buying. It’s a straightforward business. We just stay open and wait for the customers to come in with their lists.
