Mahek General Stores

Mahek General Stores is right there in Urulikanchan, situated near the GIDC Industrial Estate. Being so close to the industrial area means we get a lot of workers coming in for snacks, cold drinks, or cigarettes throughout the day. We carry a bit of everything, from basic groceries like flour and pulses to household items like soap and cleaning supplies. The shelves are packed tight because we try to fit in as much as we can for our customers. It’s a busy little spot, especially during the shift changes at the nearby factories. We aren't a big supermarket with fancy aisles. It's more of a place where you ask for what you need and we pull it off the shelf for you. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when everyone wants something at once, but we've gotten used to the pace over the years. We stay open pretty late to accommodate the people coming home from work. The floor is a bit worn and the lights might flicker sometimes, but it’s a real shop run by real people. We know what the locals need and we try to keep those items in stock.
