Mahavir Metals

Mahavir Metals is located down at Kasarwadi, specifically at 10th A Main 5th Cross. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but the sign is clear enough once you get close. The shop is mostly just a large space filled with various metal items and supplies. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make room for new arrivals. The floors are concrete and usually have some scuff marks from the heavy crates we drag across them. It isn’t the quietest place to work because there is always the sound of metal clinking or trucks idling outside on the crossroad. We usually have the main door wide open to let in some air and light. The shelves are made of heavy iron to hold the weight of everything we keep in stock. We don’t have a big fancy showroom. If someone needs something, we just go into the back or look through the stacks until we find it. Most of our days are spent checking inventory or talking to the workers who come by from other parts of Kasarwadi. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty when the wind blows through the 5th Cross, so we spend time wiping down the counters. It’s a basic operation where we just focus on the task at hand. We’ve stayed in this same spot for a while now, and we know the other shopkeepers on the block pretty well. We usually close up once the light starts to fade on the street.
