Mahaveer General Store

I spend most of my day at Mahaveer General Store, right in Shop No 12 at the Chandan Shoppee Center. If you are looking for us, we are sitting right in front of the Shivaji Putta statue here in Viman Nagar. It is a busy spot and there is always something going on outside on the street. I started this place to keep things simple for the folks living around here. We have all the usual stuff on the shelves like biscuits, soaps, and those little things people forget to buy at the big supermarkets. The shop isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. Sometimes the deliveries show up late and I have to stack boxes in the corner until I can sort them out. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front of the center, but the breeze from the road helps a little. People stop by on their way home from work to grab milk or just to say hello. It is not some fancy corporate outlet, just a regular shop where we know most of the faces that walk through the door. I try to keep everything organized, but it is a one-man job mostly, so things get a little cluttered behind the counter. That is just how it is. We have been in this part of Viman Nagar for a while now and I have seen the area change a lot with new buildings going up everywhere.
