Mahashakti Pressings

Mahashakti Pressings is tucked away on Talawade Road 4. It’s an industrial sort of area, so there’s always a lot of noise and trucks moving around. We’ve been operating from this spot for a good while. Our day usually begins with checking the machines and making sure the floor is clear. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly just repetitive work and making sure parts are pressed right. The building itself is older, but it serves its purpose for what we need to do. We don’t really have a front desk or anything like that, you just walk in and someone will be there working. People usually come to us when they need something specific made or handled. We’ve got a small crew and we all know our roles pretty well. Talawade Road can get really jammed up in the evenings, so we usually try to get our shipping done early in the day. It’s a hot environment, especially in the summer months when the machines are running all day long. We just get on with it though. We aren’t interested in being some big corporate entity. We just want to do the work and go home. There’s a tea stall nearby where we take our breaks, which is a nice escape from the noise for a few minutes. That’s pretty much the daily life for us here at the shop. We keep the machines oiled and the work flowing as best as we can every single week.
