Maharaja Mobile Gallery

You can find Maharaja Mobile Gallery at Vadgaon Sheri 5. We have a small shop here filled with glass cases for the phones and all sorts of accessories like chargers and earphones hanging on the walls. It’s a bright little space because we need to see the small parts we are working with. A lot of people from around Vadgaon Sheri come in when they have a problem with their mobile or when they want to buy a new cover to protect their screen. We spend a good part of the day sticking screen guards onto phones, which takes a lot of patience so we don't get any bubbles under the plastic. It’s a busy street outside, so there is always the sound of traffic and people talking. We have a couple of stools for customers to sit on while they wait for us to finish something. We aren’t a big showroom, just a local gallery where we handle things personally. Sometimes we are busy talking to three people at once, and other times it’s quiet enough to listen to the radio and check the inventory. We keep our stock in the cupboards under the counters and try to keep everything wiped down because fingerprints get everywhere on the glass. We’ve been at this address for a while and we’ve seen the types of phones change a lot, but the way we run the shop stays pretty much the same. It is just us here every day.
