Mahale General Surgical Hospital

We’re situated right on the Pune Nashik Highway in the Narayangaon area. Being located directly on the highway means there’s a lot of constant noise from the heavy trucks and buses passing by at all hours. It’s a very visible spot, which really helps people find us quickly if there’s some kind of emergency. The hospital focuses on general surgery, so we see a lot of different cases throughout the week. The building isn't brand new or modern, but it’s well-maintained enough for the work we do. Inside, it can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of family members waiting around, but we manage to make it work. Most of the people who come here are from Narayangaon itself or the surrounding rural areas along the highway stretch. We’ve got an operating room and some beds for people to recover in after their procedures. It’s a busy environment most days. You can always hear the horns honking outside while we are working. We don’t put on any airs here; it’s a straightforward medical facility for regular people. The doctors and nurses are usually running around between the wards and the theater. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes it feels a little chaotic when several people arrive at the same time. We’ve been here for a good while, and most drivers on this stretch of the road know our building. It's a practical place to get surgery.
