Mahalaxmi Steel

We are located right on SC Road 16 in Bhosari. If you know the industrial area around here, you probably know our street because it’s always full of activity and trucks moving back and forth. We have a small shop where we sell steel to the local workshops and the smaller factories that operate in this belt. It is a very hands-on kind of business. We don't have a fancy showroom with glass windows. Our place is basically a big shed with racks for the steel and a small wooden desk where we keep our ledgers. The air in Bhosari is usually full of the smell of metal and oil, and we've grown quite used to it over the years. We handle all the cutting and loading ourselves with a couple of guys who help out. It's hard work and your hands get dirty within five minutes of starting the shift, but it’s what we do. We don't use any corporate talk or try to sound more important than we are. We're just a local steel shop trying to provide what the nearby workers need. We keep a close eye on the stock levels so we don't have to turn anyone away. If you come by, you'll probably find us wearing our old work shirts and drinking some tea while we wait for the next customer. It’s a basic setup but it works well for us and the community.
