Madan Mohan Jyotish Sansathan

We are just here on Parvati Padra Road. It's a busy spot, mostly in the mornings when everyone is heading to work and the noise of motorcycles starts up. Madan Mohan Jyotish Sansathan is the name on the board outside, which is a bit faded now because of the sun hitting it every afternoon. Inside, it’s mostly just a few chairs and a wooden table where we sit and talk to folks who drop in. The fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it’s on high, but you get used to it after a while. Most days are pretty quiet until the afternoon when the tea seller comes around with his kettle. People find us because they know the area well, not because of any big signs or fancy lights. Parvati Padra Road has changed a lot lately, with more shops opening up and more cars parked everywhere, but our little corner stays much the same as it has been. We don’t have any fancy waiting room or anything like that. Just some old calendars on the wall and a few books that have been around for many years. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows to let the breeze in from the street. It’s a simple setup we have here. We’ve been at this address for a long time now, and the neighbors all know us by name. It feels like a small community even though the city is getting bigger every day around us. We just take things as they come.
